Filey War Memorial, Murray Street
The 1911 Census shows that Arthur was one of 6 children born to Charles FERRAR and Sophia Haxby SCOTTER. Five were living in 1911 but only 4 at home on census night. The family moved around the country, following father Charles' work. In 1911 he was working on the restoration of Winchester Cathedral.
